Description: The IRENA Coalition for Action’s ‘Renewables in Agriculture’ Working Group is convening a virtual knowledge exchange on Scaling-Up Renewables for Agri-Food Systems: Opportunities and Challenges. The exchange aims to bring together the members of the Coalition, along with other experts and stakeholders, to showcase their experience and lessons with renewable energy solutions across agri-food chains from all regions. The platform will trigger dialogue among the private sector, research institutions, academia and financing institutions from the energy and agriculture sector to bridge knowledge gaps as well as potentially forge partnerships for future joint work. The outcomes of the session will also feed into the Working Paper of the Working Group on the topic.
