Description: The second edition of the ALER Talks will take place on October 14th at 10am (GMT+1), and will have as its theme, the "Role of National Banks in Financing the Renewable Energy Sector".
The reason for choosing this theme is that investments in renewable energy in Portuguese-speaking countries, like the rest of Africa, are mostly for independent energy producers (IPP) with origin in multilateral entities or Financial Institutions for Development (DFI), due to the favorable conditions that this type of entities can offer, in a project model Finance, in foreign capital and foreign currency.
