Description: IFC is conducting an initial project preparation phase for an embedded solar energy platform in Nigeria, expected to be implemented with the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA). For this purpose, embedded generation refers to generation projects under 20 MW connected and evacuated through a distribution network.
IFC expects to identify and develop at least three projects of approximately 60 MW (in aggregate) under a common platform.
In this preliminary project preparation phase, IFC is seeking international counsel (supported by local counsel) to review an existing PPA, draft other required project documents and conduct legal due diligence.
