Description: Zanaco Bank Plc has received a financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the capacity building as part of the Implementation Agreement under the Renewable Energy (RE) Financing Framework and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract to engage a consulting firm (Consultant). The Consultant will have two broad but interlinked roles: to be an Investment Advisor and to provide Transactional advisory workin relationship to RE project finance and to ensure that Zanaco is fit for purpose in terms of RE financing.
The Zambia Renewable Energy Financing Framework program aims at assisting the Zambian Government in the implementation of its Renewable Energy Feed-in-Tariff (REFiT) strategy. The Technical Assistance (TA) under this program will support the aspirations of the strategy by catalyzing private sector investment and creating a sustainable portfolio for renewable energy projects.
