Description: The Project aims to support sustainable access to drinking water in 165 Tanzanian villages. This will be achieved by replacing/retrofitting existing diesel-powered systems with climate-friendly PVP systems. The intervention is expected to significantly reduce O&M costs for the COWSOs, thus providing them with financial resources to lower the price of water to users and/or expand service to presently unserved communities. The objective of this consultancy is to contract an independent verification agent to carry out verification of the delivery of projects outputs and to recommend the disbursement of subsidy payments.
