Description: IFC is supporting a mini-grid distributed energy services company (DESCO) to conduct a commercial viability and feasibility assessment for at least two (2) mini-grids systems (focusing on solar photovoltaic and energy storage solutions) at two different possible sites in the DRC. The consulting firm should have extensive experience in off-grid electrification, with an emphasis on minigrids and DESCOs. The assessment will cover, amongst other areas, market demand, initial technical design and conceptual layout, financial assessment, and a preliminary environmental and social assessment
