Description: The Republic of Niger has received funding from the African Development Bank in multiple currencies from the European Union to finance the Nigeria - Niger - Benin - Burkina Faso Interconnection Project which it has passed on to Nigelec. It is planned that part of the proceeds of this financing will be applied to eligible regulations forming part of the contract for the 2nd phase of rural electrification works on the route of the interconnection line.
