Description: The NEC first set itself to examine the Integrated Electricity Plan (IEP) 2013-2022 prepared by the Central Electricity Board (CEB). After an in-depth analysis thereof, the NEC considered that, notwithstanding the likely significant work undertaken by the CEB to prepare the IEP, this document could not fullyadhere to the MID Policy, Strategy and Action Plan which was only approved in June 2013, in particular the 35% renewable energy (RE) target in 2025.
