Description: This report presents the findings and recommendations of the Midterm Review (MTR) of the UNIDO GEF Project “Promoting renewable energy based mini-grids for rural electrification and productive uses” (GEF ID: 3959, “the Project”). The project is implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). It was approved by the GEF CEO in May 2012, started in June 2012 and is set to run until October 2015.
