Description: AECF is seeking to recruit a dynamic, proactive and results-oriented Investment Manager, with an affinity for impact investing and willing to excel in a highly entrepreneurial environment. The role requires a good understanding of the investment space in sub-Saharan Africa and a solid background in the full investment cycle for early and growth stage businesses.
Reporting to the Head of Investment Advisory Services (IAS), the incumbent, who will manage the investment unit within IAS, and will support in the development and implementation of the IAS capital raising framework and strategy; and lead in driving transactions advisory matters for the investee, with a focus on capital raising for the AECF portfolio. The individual will manage a full-time staff - an investment analyst and consultants - as may be required. The role will be based in Nairobi with occasional travel in the region.
