Description: The role is short term and reports to Chintal Barot / Stella Odiase.
The core responsibilities of the role are to produce an Exploratory Note on Off-Grid Energy Solutions for Nigeria, that can contribute to the National Decarbonisation Plan (NDP) of the Office of the Vice President. Activities include:
- Undertaking preparation activities: developing an approach and detailed plan, gathering data through interviews, desktop research, and any other agreed means, developing a template for the Exploratory Note;
- Drafting the Exploratory Note: off-grid energy solutions using qualitative and quantitative data analysis;
- Facilitating review of the Note, processing feedback and finalising;
- Contributing to communicating with key stakeholders, including Knowledge and Communication pieces for COP26.
