Description: Accountable to the Managing Director for originating and developing a constant flow of new projects to the stage being ‘construction ready’. This involves identifying feasible situations that offer the potential to develop and build new plants in a manner that is aligned to the company strategy and objectives, and then securing the necessary project rights to justify investment in the completion of the tasks that will result in bankable projects. The volume and nature of new projects will be defined in the business and operating plans for the company.
Working with senior colleagues, the Development Director will ensure that the full range of necessary inputs from other functions contribute to the early stages of the project lifecycle so that projects are optimised over their complete lifecycle and are undertaken in accordance with company policies and standards.
