Description: The ideal candidate for this role is a finance professional with a solid background in credit underwriting and loan approvals, preferably within the renewable energy sector. The Senior Credit Analyst will be a key member of Odyssey’s Risk and Credit team and will play a central role in evaluating creditworthiness of SME/MSME customers seeking funding for renewable energy projects across Odyssey’s markets in Africa and India. The candidate will be responsible for assessing customer payment capacity and willingness to pay, to mitigate financial risks, while maintaining compliance with internal credit policies for solar loans, credit lines, and extension of credit limits. The Senior Credit Analyst will report to Director- Risk and work closely with other teams in the company.
