Description: Togo is the gateway to West Africa - a region with a potential renewable energy capacity of 2,000 Gigawatts (GW) and extraordinary economic growth and social development opportunities.
It is also a financial centre, home to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the West African Development Bank (BOAD).
Under the patronage of the Togo government, the West Africa Energy Cooperation Summit (WA-ECS) will present and develop major infrastructure projects in Togo and throughout the ECOWAS member states. Togo lies at the heart of this large-scale regional investment dialogue, a financial and economic hub for the future.
