Description: Global Transmission is pleased to announce that its fourth annual conference on Power Transmission in Africa will be held virtually on February 23-24, 2022.
The mission of the conference is to highlight the transmission plans and investment opportunities across the region, and to discuss the technological and financing solutions to help create efficient, reliable and modern grids.
The two-day virtual conference will have live sessions with presentations and discussions on: Country plans and utility perspective; Transmission lines and towers; Modern substations; Transmission financing and role of private sector; Role of energy storage; Policy and regulation; Advanced grid technologies; Smart grid and digitalisation potential; Asset management and Regional interconnections and power exchange.
