Description: With natural gas playing an increasingly important role in the global energy mix, the high potential of new gas discoveries on and offshore the African continent, recent innovative advances in technology and the renewed appetite of investors, conditions are right for the growth of gas-to-power activity.
The Energy Council hosts a series of Gas-to-Power strategy meetings, and this year the African Gas-to-Power potential will be highlighted at our annual Africa Assembly (24-25 June, Paris). The Gas-to-Power Africa Workshop provides a meeting place for key stakeholders from along the gas and power value chains, enabling forward-thinking and strategic discussions around gas-fired power generation opportunities across Africa.
