Description: The ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) is organizing the 1st edition of the ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum (ESEF2017), from October 11-13, 2017 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Dakar, Senegal.

The ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum aims to promote exchange of ideas and cooperation to support the acceleration of sustainable solutions to the region’s energy situation. The forum will provide a platform to improve the current policy and regulatory landscape hindering the required investment into the region’s energy sector. The forum will also facilitate networking and partnerships between ECOWAS policy makers, regional and international private sector players and financial institutions.

Description: The Energy Commission initiated the annual Ghana Renewable Energy Fair (Conference and Exhibition) in 2015 and has successfully organised two events to date. The Ghana Renewable Energy Fair is an annual Fair which aims at creating a platform for stakeholders in the renewable energy industry for the promotion of renewable energy technologies and innovation.

The 3rd Ghana Renewable Energy Fair seeks to build on the successes of the first two Fairs and continue to increase awareness on the benefits of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies and its potential to contribute to social and economic development.
