African Power Platform - Newsletter #7 | |||||||||
Week 06, 2019 | |||||||||
EDITORIAL | |||||||||
Dear reader, Welcome to the seventh African Power Platform (APP) newsletter. Only two weeks after the launching of our flagship program “Africa Power Access Accelerator” we already received the first couple of applications. I'm sure that by the deadline on the 31st March the turnout will be overwhelming. From the consultancy tenders issued by the IFC (you can find them below) we have noticed this important financial player is betting on the solar rooftop potential in Africa and preparing investments in the C&I space. Definitely a niche to keep paying close attention to. This week we have signed a partnership with the Africa Energy Forum happening in Lisbon this year. Soon we'll share details. It will be a great place for a meetup. Meanwhile, the APP keeps here, serving the power industry in Africa.
